Who Benefits From ABA Services?

ABA is widely recognized as an effective treatment and safe treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, behavioral principles and procedures have been applied to many different behaviors of interest resulting in behavioral improvements. Examples of additional clinical needs addressed with ABA treatment: Severe problem behavior (i.e. severe self-injury), pediatric feeding/eating disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss.

Studies indicate intensive early intervention results in highest treatment gains.
